Psychological assessments are a valuable tool in understanding an individual's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. At Mindward assessments are conducted by highly trained and experienced professionals who use standardized measures to evaluate a wide range of areas. Following are certain assessments we conduct to identify underlying issues or disorders and guide management planning

Intelligence Quotient (IQ) Assessment

Measures an individual's cognitive abilities, including reasoning, problem-solving, and memory. Helps identify intellectual strengths and areas requiring support. Useful for educational planning and career guidance. Conducted using standardized, age-appropriate psychological tools.

Specific Learning Disability (SLD) Assessment

Evaluates learning challenges in reading, writing, spelling, or mathematics.
Helps identify conditions such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia.
Provides recommendations for academic accommodations and interventions.
Supports students in achieving their full learning potential.

Our Focus Areas

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessment

Assesses symptoms related to inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Combines clinical interviews, standardized questionnaires, and behavioral observations. Helps determine the presence and severity of ADHD. Guides personalized treatment and management strategies.

Diagnostic Testing

Diagnostic testing in psychology refers to the process of using standardized tools and methods to assess an individual’s symptoms and determine if they meet the criteria for a particular mental health disorder. Diagnostic testing is an important part of the diagnostic process for mental health professionals, as it provides a structured and reliable way to assess an individual’s symptoms.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessment

Evaluates communication, social interaction, and behavioral patterns.
Uses evidence-based assessment tools and developmental history.
Helps identify strengths, challenges, and support requirements.
Provides a clear diagnosis and intervention recommendations when appropriate.

Our Focus Areas

Neuro-psychological Assessment

Examines brain-related cognitive functions such as memory, attention, language, and executive functioning.
Useful following neurological conditions, injuries, or developmental concerns.
Identifies cognitive strengths and areas of impairment.
Supports diagnosis, rehabilitation, and individualized treatment planning.

Projective Tests

Projective tests are a type of psychological assessment that use ambiguous stimuli, such as inkblots, pictures, or stories, to assess an individual’s personality, emotions, and motivations. These tests are based on the assumption that an individual’s responses to ambiguous stimuli can reveal unconscious thoughts and feelings that are difficult to access through more direct methods.

Our Focus Areas

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Assessment

Assesses the emotional and psychological impact of traumatic experiences.
Evaluates symptoms such as intrusive thoughts, avoidance, anxiety, and hypervigilance.
Uses clinically validated assessment methods for accurate diagnosis.
Helps develop an effective, personalized treatment and recovery plan.

Our Focus Areas

Assessing Impact of Traumatic Experiences

Trauma testing refers to the use of psychological assessments to evaluate the impact of traumatic events on an individual’s mental health. These tests help us to identify symptoms related to trauma and develop an appropriate treatment plan.

In our setting, the decision to conduct assessments is taken with extreme caution. Where necessary to guide treatment, we use standardized measures only to aid in the process.
